Our History
Women and Child Vision (WOCHIVI) is a National non-governmental organization, established in 2000 operating in Tanzania Mainland aimed at empowering children and women. Women and children are facing from extreme poverty, ignorance, diseases, poor education infrastructures and violation of women and children rights.
WOCHIVI have implemented its planned activities in partnership with different donors and other stakeholders that focus in grassroots community involvement The overall goal is to Improve the status of marginalized groups (women and children) in their communities through education and socio-economic empowerment.
The main vision is to create a health community where people do not live in fear of poverty and diseases result from alcohol and other drug abuse through providing education and socio-economic empowerment
Mission
To rescue and bring up a healthier community by intervening to the general community and ensure that general diseases and gender inequality is reduced and eventually eliminated in the community through providing education, workshops, seminars, sports and training.
